Don't miss the elaborate and entertaining parade that proceeds down Main Street around Ligonier's picturesque Diamond at 11:00 AM on Saturday. The parade will include historic units, floats, costumed characters, the shrine units and special guests, including local TV personalities, high school and college bands. This is a spectacular part of Fort Ligonier Days!
On the grounds of the Fort you will find a living history encampment showing frontier life, military tactics, drills, cannon firing, ceremonies, Highlanders, redcoats, French troops, frontier men and women, Indians and music from 1758. Visit the official website of Fort Ligonier for additional information. A favorite at the fort is the re-enactment of the Battle of Fort Ligonier at 2 & 4 pm Saturday and 1:30 & 3:30 pm Sunday.
Free outdoor entertainment includes something for everyone: Celtic, Country Rock, Brass, Oldies, tribute bands, and big names from the '50s and '60s! Over thirty community food booths line the Diamond and other locations throughout town. The variety will satisfy the hungriest of appetites! Sit-down meals are available at several local churches.

The primary purpose of Fort Ligonier Days, Inc. shall be to organize and coordinate the community festival activities known as Fort Ligonier Days and to provide an opportunity for benevolent institutions to raise funds to support their activities. Emphasis shall be placed on communicating the history of the community, especially in the latter half of the eighteenth century. This shall include the reasons for the establishment and existence of Fort Ligonier, examples of the hardships endured by early soldiers and settlers, and illustrations of the patriotism of our ancestors. Additionally, the festival will provide a means to promote the community spirit and cultural heritage of the Ligonier Valley, which continues to shine through small-town shops, vendors, and various civic and faith-based organizations.
